Road Safety Committee
Purpose:
The NCNA Road Safety Committee is dedicated to ensuring safe, accessible, and well-maintained transportation infrastructure throughout our neighborhood. We work to identify and address road safety concerns by gathering community input then implementing or advocating for necessary improvements.
Current activities:
Efforts to increase safety on the Hixson Pike corridor near the Riverview Village
Continued improvements to and support of walkability and safety in our neighborhood: document and audit pedestrian infrastructure
Tremont Trolley Trail to increase multimodal access to the Riverview Village
Dallas Road with a focus on North Market, Berkeley and Fernway intersections
